Apply knowledge,
Move Faster Towards Your Goals

If you’re looking to achieve massive growth, purpose, and clarity in your life by means of spiritual mentorship (tarbiyah) over the course of three months..

Then Tarbiyah is for you.

This program is designed to help you progress with your own journey alongside others, all with access to a qualified mentor.

The program comes with a structured and comprehensive curriculum, designed exclusively for this tarbiyah experience, with weekly readings, group discussions, journal reflections, and a final [small] project to increase your impact.

The tarbiyah program, as of 2021, also counts towards the new requirements of the revamped degrees at AlMaghrib Institute.

The earliest Muslim generations were not the greatest because they had the most information, but they were the greatest because of what they did with the information that they received.

The application of ‘ilm is life changing.

And Tarbiyah is AlMaghrib’s first program dedicated to, not just the dispensation of knowledge, but to giving you personal attention in your journey of spiritual self-actualization.

Go Faster
Or Go Further?

There’s that famous proverb, if you want to go fast, go alone,

But if you want to go far, then go together.

There’s plenty you can learn on your own,

But when you look at the most successful people in history, they all had mentors and peers to nurture and guide them towards their success.

Tarbiyah is designed to be exactly that for you.

The program comes with a structured and comprehensive curriculum, with weekly readings, group discussions, journal reflections, and practical guidance on applying that knowledge in your daily life.

The aim?

To help you grow closer to Allah, navigate personal and social challenges, and build life-long connections with like-minded brothers/sisters you can trust.

"It was a wonderful experience, with a lot of beneficial content to benefit from, but the real MVP are the group sessions and getting to learn from such a talented group of fellow mentees and the mentor herself. I also appreciate the growth this program allows because it involves actively participating in the discussions and one is not just consuming content, but taking time to reflect on it and discuss it with others. The additional activities that run throughout the program such as the Dua challenge and daily Hadith reflections were a great bonus."

- Safiya Rehmat

Welcome To Tarbiyah:

Tarbiyah – the comprehensive development of the believer in various facets – requires a murabbi/murabbiyah (a spiritual mentor) to

1) guide the way
2) serve as a role model
3) provide external accountability.

Unfortunately, direct access to a spiritual mentor is not always easy or feasible.

So we’re launching a unique program to help you with your ambitions for greater growth, external accountability, and lasting change.

Tarbiyah I covers three main areas with a final project:

● Aqīdah & Tazkiyah (Postmodernism, Belief in Allah, Prophet Muhammad, and the Quran)
● Organize Your Life (Goalsetting in Islam, wealth mastery, and death preparation)
● Leadership & Ethics (Islamic leadership principles, ethics, and rectifying relationships)
● Concluding Project

The program comes with a structured and comprehensive curriculum, designed exclusively for this tarbiyah experience, with weekly readings, group discussions, journal reflections, and a final [small] project to increase one’s impact. The tarbiyah program, as of 2022, also counts towards the new requirements of the revamped degrees at AlMaghrib Institute.

Where will we communicate as a group?

All members will be assigned a private group with a mentor and mentees, and communication will take place regularly in these groups over telegram.

What if I can't attend all the weekly sessions?

The live sessions are mandatory as they serve as the primary benefit of spiritual mentorship, and they serve to also cultivate a student’s consistency and dedication. Failure to attend sessions repeatedly without a valid excuse may result in the suspension of the student. We urge attendees to note the dates and times in advance in order to schedule the program into their calendars before it begins.

Will the weekly sessions be recorded?

For the sake of confidentiality and comfort for all attendees and mentors, and due to the mandatory attendance for greater benefit, the live sessions will not be recorded.

However, students who take notes from the live sessions may share them in the private groups for those who missed live sessions with valid excuses.

Is there a minimum or maximum age for attendees?

The minimum age is 17 and the maximum age is 150. 🙂

Can I force my children to join this program so they can benefit?

No, sorry. This program is not designed to babysit attendees; it’s for attendees – old & young – who are genuinely passionate and excited about making the most of this mentorship opportunity.

Can I sign up for one seat and share it with a family member?

No, unfortunately. Unlike live seminars and other AlMaghrib programs, the tarbiyah program is designed to serve individuals with their particular backgrounds, interactions, and experiences alongside their peers in a confidential virtual space.

Will sisters and brothers all be in the same private group?

No. As many studies have found, women and men (and boys & girls) are more likely to learn and achieve their goals in separate groups. For the sake of mentors and attendees’ comfort as well, and due to the sensitivity of some gender-specific matters to be discussed, the groups will be sisters-only and brothers-only, inshaaAllah.

Will I have continued access to my group of mentees after the program ends?

Yes, definitely. One objective is to create new bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood and for friendships that are lasting, inshaaAllah. You’re encouraged to make these connections during the program, and bonding will be one of the secondary objectives and benefits of the program.

Will I get credit for this program as part of my journey towards an associate’s or bachelor’s degree?

Yes. As the Tarbiyah program is required for the new degree program, students earn credits for the successful completion of the program.

What's the refund policy?
