Ustadh Baker Assaf studied Islamic Sciences at AlMaghrib Institute and is currently working on his Masters in Islamic Finance at Guidance College. He holds ijaazat in many fiqh (jurisprudence) books in the Shafi’ee school, including Minhaj Al-Talibin and Riyaad Al-Saliheen. He performed his first Hajj in 2013 and has since returned numerous times leading thousands of Muslims in their lifetime changing journey. Ustadh Baker’s constant spiritual reminders with a grain of humor keeps everyone’s hajj experience focused and enjoyable!

Madinah
You begin in the city of light…
Over 3 full days in Madinah you will get the chance to mentally, physically, and spiritually climatise to the environment, and to start your Hajj journey with serenity.
With visitations to historical sites from the Seerah accompanied by powerful reminders and lessons from our instructors.
This is also your chance to gain a much-needed refresher on what to expect when you embark on your Hajj through Q&A sessions with each guide.
Umrah
After your introduction to the holy land, you will set of for the first leg of your pilgrimage via a direct train to Makkah.
The group Umrah is the first major portion of the pilgrimage, and our instructors will be by your side throughout the ritual.
From the tawaf, to the sa’i, they will help you maximize your reward in each act of your Umrah.
Following our group Umrah, you will move on to your hotel in Aziziyeh, located a short distance from Mina, to rest and prepare for the days ahead.
Our hotel in Aziziyeh will be the base which you will have access to in case of any emergencies outside of Mina.
The Days of Hajj
The moment you’ve been waiting for!
Your Hajj has now commenced, as the group makes its way to Mina for 5 days of intense worship with your fellow pilgrims.
Our instructors and guides will be staying with you in our Mina camp, providing further lessons, khatiras, and guidance on productivity to maximize your reward.
From your arrival in Mina, to the day of Arafah, walking to and from Muzdalifah, and the 3 days of stoning the jamarat, you will find all your logistical and knowledge-based needs covered as you focus on your Du’a, Dhikr, and fulfilling the legacy of Ibrahim (A.S).
Makkah
You’ve completed your Hajj rites, now it’s time to relax and reflect!
The final leg of your AlMaghrib Hajj brings you back to Makkah, where you will spend the final 3 days of your journey.
With easy access to the Harram, this is your chance to rejuvenate, share in group reflections, and enjoy Makkah thoroughly before bidding farewell.

Package Information
Who can join this package?
As long as you have a passport (permanent residency or citizenship) from either Canada, the United Kingdom or America we can accept your application.
What is included in this package?
Included in our package is AlMaghrib programming, all accommodation and all local transportation. The AlMaghrib programming includes taking you on site visits while in Madinah, live Hajj training by the scholars before and during hajj. The hotel accommodation in Madinah and Makkah (post hajj) are classified as luxury 5 star hotels. Also included are: Ihram towels for men, prayer mats for women. During hotel days breakfast and dinner will be provided, during hajj days (Mina, Muzdalifah, Arafah) breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and drinks will be provided.
What are the flight details?
Alhamdulillah we are travelling with some of the highest rated airlines in the world: Turkish Airlines and for YYZ Etihad Airways. The gateways for these packages are:
Majar Al Kabsh: ORD, IAD, DFW, IAH, LAX, MIA & LHR
Al Muaisim: ORD, IAD, DFW, IAH, LAX, JFK & YYZ
If your gateway is not listed, you can take a flight to your nearest airport gateway.
Can the elderly or people who need physical assistance join your program?
We welcome everyone to join us, however you need to plan accordingly to your needs. Hajj is a physically demanding form of worship, especially in the summer months. If you need assistance with walking and any basic activities please ensure you have someone travelling with you and budget extra funds for purchasing a wheelchair (estimated $100 – 150 USD), Nusuk does provide an option to add one for free. Especially for the elderly, if you are not someone who is not able to travel independently you need to ensure you have a travel from A to Z. If you are unsure if this group is a right fit, please speak to us early so we can advise you and you can look for other groups if needed. Also note the Majar Al Kabsh packages are only a 15 minute walk from the stoning site, compared to 45 minutes from Al Muaisim.

Can I attend as a single sister without a mahram?
Yes we welcome you, please ensure you are physically fit to travel if you are travelling by yourself. We have a female scholar joining us in the program.

How much do the packages cost?
The prices of our packages are listed on Nusuk, our package codes are: Al Burj AB 13 Luxury Shifting, Al Burj AB 14 Luxury Shifting & Al Burj AB 15 Luxury Shifting, the prices start from 41,000 Saudi Riyals to 45,000 Saudi riyals (VAT and Adhiyah [sacrifice] included). Please note flight prices costs are extra.
Do I need to be vaccinated for Hajj?

Pre-Hajj Details
Where do I start?
Register your interest with us (https://www.almaghrib.org/hajj/) and get registered on Nusuk (https://hajj.nusuk.sa). Once on Nusuk you need to register for hajj, get verified and then work on filling your wallet. Please join our chat groups to stay in touch with important updates as well.
What if I can't travel on your exact published dates?
The packages we provide will come with flights associated from different airports at different times, this sometimes causes a natural +/- 1 or 2 days difference based on which airport you fly from. If you are considering purchasing additional flights, please speak to us for approval.
What is the difference between the Majar al Kabsh and Al Muaisim packages?
The package with codes Al Burj AB 13 Luxury Shifting & Al Burj AB 15 Luxury Shifting are staying at Majar Al Kabsh camp at Mina. This camp has limited capacity. The location is approximately a 15-minute walk one way to the jamarat (stoning site). The package code Al Burj AB 14 Luxury Shifting will be at the Al Muaisim camp in Mina which is approximately a 45-minute to 1 hour walk one way to the jamarat. The Majar Al Kabsh also includes a shuttle service from Mina to the Al Rayyan Towers on Dhul Hijjah 10th – 12th. Please note both camps are similar in accommodation services, the major difference between the two is the proximity to the Jamarat (stoning site).
What is Nusuk? And do I have to use it?
Nusuk is the new portal from the Saudi Hajj ministry, you will use it to get your hajj visa, select your package and flights. Everyone has to make an account, there is no way to proceed with hajj registration without starting on Nusuk. Please create an account and register for hajj on it as soon as possible and let us know if you need any assistance.
During Hajj Details
How far from the Haram (Kaabah) will we be staying in Makkah?
Our packages include accommodation at the Al Rayyan towers in Aziziyah from Dhul Hijjah 6th – 14th (with access to Al Rayyan during hajj days while you are in Mina). There will be a limited shuttle bus service (based on traffic conditions) to get you from Al Rayyan towers to the Haram.
After the hajj you will be staying at the Swissotel (at the clock tower complex) from the 14th Dhul Hijjah to 17th. Alhamdulillah the Swissotel is only a 4-minute walk to the Kaabah, it is in the Clock Tower Complex.
What do I need to pack for hajj?
We understand our hajj group includes people who we have the honour of accompanying to the haram for the first time in their lives and veteran hajjis. We will go through in detail how you need to prepare and provide a packing list and guide you through the process. We will be providing detailed education pre-hajj in the form of live webinars, chat groups, modules you can study.
Will I have access to my hotel while I am in the Mina camp?
You will still have access to your hotel at Al Rayyan Towers during your Mina stay for all packages.
For Majar al Kabsh packages there will be a limited shuttle service from 10th – 12th Dhul Hijjah from the Mina camp to the hotel, for those who wish to use hotel facilities. Please note during Mina camp days all meals are provided at Mina not the hotel. You are able to walk to Al Rayyan from Jamarat (stoning site) if you wish (it takes approximately 45 minutes walking).
How much time will the scholars spend with us?
Alhamdulillah we have designed the program so that you will have the company of the scholars and the guides the entire trip. It starts with the spiritually uplifting webinars and educational talks before hajj, your interactions with some of them on the chat groups. They are honoured to be your hajj guides and they will host daily dars and talks after Fajr, Q&A sessions live to support you, in short you will have access to them throughout the trip. They will be your companions as you go through the hajj rites, site-seeing and the whole experience, inshallah.
Can I select which scholar is in my sub-group?
There is no way to select just one because all the scholars will be rotating amongst the sub-groups, so this way inshallah you will be able to maximize the number of scholars you get to spend time with.
Will we have to arrange our own transportation?
Rest assured, your package will include all the transportation that is required between all sites, including trains between Makkah and Madinah, buses to Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafah and hotel, airport pick up and drop off.
Will I be able to stay with my family members?
During the hotel days (Saja Madinah and Swissotel Makkah) there might be some flexibility to arrange you staying with your family depending on available room configuration in the packages, however keep in mind during all the hajj days everyone stays with their same gender group in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah. The stay in Al Rayyan Towers is quad occupancy with same gender rooms.
