"Simply put the class was amazing. we learned many rulings on prayer and purification and how the early scholars came to their decisions. There are many sunnah that i never knew about untill taking this class and i'm very grateful for it. we also heard some hilarious stories from abdul bary that i probably shouldnt share...oh and alhumdullilah, abdul bary yahya is AWESOMETACULAR... he's so cool i had to make up a new word for him. he gave what i call the sniffles khutbah/jumuah prayer. i'll never forget that prayer... so many people with runny noses... alhumdullilah we all cried."

"The Purification act was in my opioion extemely beneficial. I learned so much i never knew how much there was to know and how complicated the very acts that we do every day really are. This class is ESSENTIAL for everyone... the material the atmospehere the Shaykh are all amazing alhadulilah!"

"Sheikh Abdulbary is a very talented storyteller with a great sense of humor. His stories are just to die for. As with each class, you get a different flavor based on the instructor. This class is a fertile ground for amusing stories that I could share with my kids. What benefited me from this class was how the opinions of different scholars were presented and always concluded with which one is the strongest opinions. The opinions were also explained, meaning the reason why a scholar adopted an opinion was explained. That clears up a lot of stuff for me."

"Some of the best things about this class was what happened outside the class. The brothers were able to spend alot of time with the ustadh, we went hiking, played football amongst other things..we were like 'dang, shaykh got some game!' He told us he played football in HS. Like I said, he's very much in touch with the youth as he's only a few years older than us and grew up here as well."
- Mahin, Columbus
"It was one the best class I have ever attended. I was amazed how scholars interprete hadiths and Quranic verses to pin point solutions. "
- Sureknowlege, California
"This class was the most intense, and astounding class yet, for me. The immense amount of material and content presented was truly breathtaking, and heartwarming. As a teen, I can assure you that this class wasn't horrifying, or intimidating. I strongly encourage other bothers and sisters to attend this amazing class."

"The purification act is THE class to take when you know you are muslim! mashAllah excellent course and excellent teacher brought by an excellent institute, taught in an excellent way. I took the class recently and it has given me practical ways to perfect the first pillar after the testimony of faith."
- Rooh, USA

"Alhamdulellah, this class was really awesome! It strengthened my iman even as I sat there pondering how nothing in our religion is left out, that each second can be an act of worship. People think they know how to pray and make wudu, so why take this class! You need this class to go beyond the basics, to learn more about the sources, to understand how to differ with others, to get inside the minds of the scholars, and to relive some of the moments of The Prophet Muhammad, salalhu 'alayhe wa sellums, life, down to even the tiniest, seemingly unimportant details. "

"This is an AMAZING course, you learn so much about the most important thing (tahara and salah), clear up so many misconceptions...andddd, my respect for scholars of the past has gone up so much because now I can see reasoning behind their thoughts. If its being offered...DONT MISS IT! "
- Aarij, Waterloo, ON
"I got a lot more out of it than I expected, tabarakAllah. I found it to be more beneficial than the exact same course I was taking with the AOU at the same time. That had to do with: 1. the unique style of Almaghrib seminars 2. the unique way of presentation AND content of this particular course 3. my learning style. I can definetely reiterate how taking an Islamic course online isn't the most ideal for everyone. Nevertheless, this class actually helped me do well in the online one! "

"Sheikh AbdulBary has a really pleaseant character, and yea, he tells really good stories! This a class will wake your brain up! The group assignments and discussion were challenging, interesting, and gave us a chance to feel like a faqih! And if you have people in your area that like to ask endless fiqh questions no matter what the topic at hand! Then this class will get it out of their system, insha'Allah!"
