Before Your Exam Date
Check to make sure you see the Exam button
It is encouraged to do the following before 4pm EST on the Thursday before your exam:
- Visit www.almaghrib.org
- Check if your log-in information as described above works. If not, please e-mail registrar@almaghrib.org.
- Click on the ‘Seminars’ tab.
- Verify that there is an ‘Exam’ button next to the class you will be taking the exam for. If not, please e-mail registrar@almaghrib.org with payment details. Please note, that if you have not registered and paid, you will NOT be able to take the exam.
**Registrar is only available during business hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm EST
Requesting an Exam Deferral
The deadline to submit a deferral request is the last Friday before the exam, by 12 PM EST.
- Go to www.almaghrib.org
- Enter the e-mail address and password you used to register with AlMaghrib.
- If you are not auto-redirected to your ‘MyAlMaghrib’ account, click on the ‘MyAlMaghrib’ link at the top.
- Click on the ‘Seminars’ tab.
- Scroll down to the class that you are taking the exam for.
- Click the ‘Requests’ button, click 'Add Request' and select 'Exam Deferral' from the drop-down menu. In the space provided, please provide the reason for your deferral request.

On Exam Day
Step-by-Step Online Exam Instructions
- Go to www.almaghrib.org
- Enter the e-mail address and password you used to register with AlMaghrib.
- If you are not auto-redirected to your ‘MyAlMaghrib’ account, click on the ‘MyAlMaghrib’ link at the top.
- Click on the ‘Seminars’ tab.
- Scroll down to the class that you are taking the exam for.
- Click the ‘Exam’ button. Your exam will be available to take between 9am-9pm of your time zone.
- IMPORTANT: you will only be able to open your exam ONCE.
- Proceed with answering the questions by selecting the best answer; the entire exam is multiple choice.
Exam Crashes
- Go to www.almaghrib.org
- Enter the e-mail address and password you used to register with AlMaghrib.
- If you are not auto-redirected to your ‘MyAlMaghrib’ account, click on the ‘MyAlMaghrib’ link at the top.
- Click on the ‘Seminars’ tab.
- Scroll down to the class that you are taking the exam for.
- Click the ‘Requests’ button, click 'Add Request' and select the 'Exam Crashed' option from the drop-down menu and provide a detailed explanation of what happened while you were taking the exam.
Technical Support on Exam Day
For any other technical difficulties on the day of the exam, please e-mail techsupport@almaghrib.org.
If the course or ‘Exam’ button do not appear in your ‘MyAlMaghrib’ account, please e-mail registrar@almaghrib.org. (Registrar is only available during business hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm EST.)

After Exam Day
Please follow these steps to access the Exam Review:
- Go to www.almaghrib.org
- Enter the e-mail address and password you used to register with AlMaghrib.
- If you are not auto-redirected to your ‘MyAlMaghrib’ account, click on the ‘MyAlMaghrib’ link at the top.
- Click on the ‘Seminars’ tab.
- Scroll down to the seminar you would like to review the exam for.
- Click the ‘Grade’ button. Under your exam score, click on 'View Results'.
- Read the 'Exam Review Terms' and click 'Open Review'.
